I believe this is very creative shutter value, shows some blur and some sharpness... I'd like to see some creative photographs within this range... do share.

This one might have just a bit longer than your 1/8th shutter speed (exif says 0.4s) but close. This was handheld with a stabilized lens.

I'm stunned. How can you possibly pan so accurately at 1/20? You must have a bionic, computer-controlled arm. ;)

The onoffical "pre-cruise" goes on for a months before the event, so it helps to practice, be lucky occasionally, & know where the Delete key is because the speeds vary from 1-50mph & you never know what speed you'll be panning next? I do have a case of envy for the guys with IS when I shoot these. ; )

Lotsa' links!
First shoot with moving cars need advice.

OK. I cheated on the second one with a rear-curtain flash sync and it may have been closer to a full second on the exposure. I really can't remember.

I am serious....and don't call me Shirley.

Got a bit bored at the PaperClip so played around with some slow shutter speeds.
From memeory, these were shot at 1/5 sec
Some will "get" these and like them, others won't.

C & C Welcome
