'41 Ford Coupe 350

Mel's '41 Ford Coupe has a small block 350cid engine with a 3/4 cam. It has Chevy drive train, auto trans, & a 9" 4.11 rear end. Mel had had it since 1996 & he did all the work on it, including installing a color TV & 4 coats of paint + 14 coats of clear coat.

I'd probably go with crazy, Marie! I've never understood TVs in cars when the space could be better used as a bar!

Lovely looking rod , without sounding like a girl " it has a great face" you can really seen the depth of the laquering , nice sheen to the surface , like the frenched rear lights too a neat touch , did it have covers on the headlights ? they look a bit moondish like . great shots as always !

Yes, that used to be a big fad, but I haven't seen it much lately. Probably a lot of those guys have disappeared 'cause they couldn't see where they were going?

His wife only needs 6 cylinders to go to the market?

EDIT: Sorry, forgot Britain's question, "I've been viewing your pictures of all the great car shots. All they all mostly from your area?" Yes, most I go to are within 6 miles of where I live. On any given evening in the Summer, there are about 6-12 car meets here! Probably the only thing I love about Detroit, too!
