Literally seconds before the most intense lightning storm I have ever witness. Too bad there was no safe place to take photos later and the storm enveloped the whole area (several miles across). In fact, I almost chickened out during the panorama halfway through, as I could sense the tension building. Very SCARY!

Which one, color or B&W?

Wow amazing shot, both are great but the color one is so unique due to the lighting I have to go with that one.

I'm accross the canal just south of Ballard, the town Seattle usurped in 1907.

Awesome capture!

I like the color one as it stands, but the B&W imparts a sense of foreboding that might be enhanced if the bright spot in the sky & the grass in the foreground were darkened just a touch to add a bit more detail.

Again, a great shot overall!

Very nice. I prefer the color one, but both work well.

Thanks for the feedback!

It's not often I struggle to decide between two photos, but thanks to your fresh eyes, I will go with the color version. :)
