I'm toying with a new logo, what do you think? Could this be done in anything other than black and white? What about blue? Any other suggestions? Thanks so much for your help!

To me, it's too plain. Not very memorable.

As photoguy said, it's very bland and uninspired. If it's a visual symbol of your business, this doesn't symbolize creativity or professionalism. Sorry to be so harsh, but logos are like photos. Anyone can make one, but only professionals make ones worth looking at. I'd suggest hiring a designer to take a crack at it.

I would change the font style of "Marshall" and make the line a little thinner.

I don't mean to be harsh or knock you down, but does that even qualify as a logo? I don't think so. Here are 3 suggestions:

1. Look up the definition of "logo" to better understand what you are doing.

2. Keep trying and refining. You will get there.

3. How about somehow incorporating an image or shape of an old U.S. Federal Marshall's badge? This is just an idea to get you thinking. (thinking differently..i don't mean to imply you are not using your head)
