Through some interaction with few wrong people (Prejudice, rude, vulgar and likewise that are by far the minority on POTN) who run a thread, I have become totally hyper-allergic to that particular thread.
I see a good option in my profile to Ignore people I don't like.
But is there a similar way to Ignore the whole thread and save my blood pressure from rising by not seeing what I don't like to see?
Help is appreciated if there is one such option.

First, if people are behaving in such a way, please click on the little red triangle

and report them. The mods will take care of things. As far as ignoring the entire thread, go through and unsubscribe from it and that should take care of things on your end. This can be done under UserCP. I think that is what you're looking for. If not, I'm sure someone will give the correct info.

Report the posts that are problems, place the posters on ignore and rest assured that if you find them offensive the Mods probably will too, and if they're called to our attention they will be dealt with.

No I just want not to see the post and nothing more.

I have already unsubscribed from the post long back but when I go to see "New Posts" I see it.

If the person is on your "Ignore" list you shouldn't see their posts when reading a thread.

Au contraire, Great and Noble Dane. It simply must be a deliberate choice a member must make each time he sees the thread in question. ;)

So If you have asthma, every time that season changes, its the deliberate part of you as patient to cause change of season?
My problem is not to go into that thread as that will never happen. Mere seeing it in the list is distracting for me.

Believe me when I say I am allergic to a thread and certain routine people that are there;
Sorry but frustration caused by those members is grave enough for me to feel nauseous, when seeing the name of the that thread. And I have been away from this enitre web site for several months deprivating myself from rest of good things here, but certain wounds won't heal. I guess I need to tolerate it as is or may be check new posts less often.
