Flamenco Passion Granada

I have just returned from a trip to Spain and whilst there had the pleasure of enjoying an authentic flamenco show by genuine gypsies in Granada. The show was one of the most passionate expressions of dance and culture I have ever experienced.

These two photos I hope, have captured the same feeling of passion, movement and breathtaking and profound beauty of Flamenco that I enjoyed.

These two shots were taken hand held with a very narrow aperture and relatively slow shutter speed in order to portray the atmosphere of the performance. I have also done some post editing where I have added a multiplied mask and further burn mask.

I'd like to know what you think and whether you agree or not if the photos portray the Spirit of the dance.

Cheers,

NicholasBB

Thanks for the comment Rick, not to judge a book by its cover, but looking at your profile photo, I think you would probably make for a great Gypsy Flamenco dancer yourself!

Again thanks!
