2012 PVGP - Really Late

I know I am extremely late with this, but it is a great event and I haven't seen it represented here in my exploration so far. I thought I'd throw up some of my favorites in hopes of getting some C&C from you guys!

What were you panning at for #1,2 and 6. Looks great. Do you use IS when panning?

excellent job of panning, really got the feeling of speed in them.

Heycoop - 1 was shot at 1/80, 2 at 1/80 and 3 at 1/50, all in shutter priority mode.
By IS do you mean image stabilization? If so, yes, (Nikon calls it Vibration Reduction) I had it turned on.

Yea, thats what I meant. How much does it help with panning? could you pan at 1/80 without VR?

Actually... I was wrong. The lens I was shooting with does not have IS/VR. So I suppose I wasn't using it. Sorry
