I can't decide if I like it or if I think the edit is cheesy and it's a crappy photo overall.

I do like it though they tend to get a touch lost in the background. Also looks like element of background is part of the kiss.

On an unrelated side note - one of my favorite kid pics of myself is almost that exact spot http://photos.imageeve​nt.com …s/huge/IMG_0049​%20e_1.jpg (external link) (I am looking at the camera)

It's hard to focus in on the couple with everyone else in the shot.

I am not a fan of wide angle shots of people but, I think that in this case, if you were to use a wide lens and shoot from closer to the couple, you would be able to make them prominent and still show them in the contex of the background.

I would simply crop it tighter, keeping the couple in the right hand side of the image. You will still be able to recognize the Opera House.

if you really wanted to put some work in, you could use parts from both of those shots and clone out the people.


Gear List (5D3, 70-200 f2.8L IS II, Sigma 85mm f1.4, Sigma 35mm f1.4, 50 f1.8, 24-105L, Alien Bee lights, etc etc)
