I took a trip there last spring with Unique Photo from NJ. The group price was great and the access to the park was for our group only for 2 or 3 hours. Definitely worth it, regardless of the weather.

just a few of my thoughts...

ScottyR. It is definitely worth the price. Go with a camera store (e.g., Unique Photo). They get discount prices. The people up there are great. This was my third time there, and it is never the same. Always great. One girl on the trip has been there five years in a row.

If you go yourself, you can get an individual pass, but, you have to shoot through two (2) fences. If you go with a group, you are inside the first fence, and can shoot through holes in the second fence.
Bring a long lens. I used my 400mm w/ my FF to get close. A 500mm would be nice for some of the shots. maybe next year, I will rent one.
