Full session is here (external link)

The couple is on the heavy side (but by no means morbidly obese. contrarily, I actually think they're really cute together) but I thought I'd post a few images from their session post. How would you guys change up this posing to eliminate flaws due to weight or maximize their positive features? CC welcome and appreciated!

Wow. You really wrote with light on this one. I really enjoy the use of pitch-black shadows and your off-camera flash. On the first one, did you put the flash right behind his shoulder? Or was it further back?

My favorite is on your blog and is the one where they are standing in front of the circular brick entrance with the sun backlighting them. Any special bounce or fill you did there? Or is it all natural light?

Thanks! for #1, flash was just below his shoulder pointed straight at them. I was thinking to go further back for a wider rimlight, but felt like i might lose more of the light-framing on the archway if i did that. As for the one on my blog, it was all natural there, i just exposed for them and took a few shots and tried to keep the flare as tiny as possible

I think they're nice and I really like the B&W one. I think they're fine, size wise.. There maybe were a couple of shots I would have hit the chins with a tiny bit of liquify personally and perhaps shooting underneath is a tricky move with a curvier couple but it actually worked pretty well. Love the black and white one of him kissing her neck; very sexy.

I am super cool n' stuff.

Very nicely done. I was going to say these photos looks a little gloomy because of the way you lit them up, but you have a good eclectic mix in your blog. I think you did every well with their "size".

Size? I didn't even notice until people started mentioning it!

For example in #5, she looks pretty darn good, I would say. Dunno if you meant to "make" her look skinny in that one but she turned out pretty darn thin.

Thanks all! yea, i'm always looking to improve my posing and still trying to get more comfortable with heavier folks (like myself).. i did liquify them in a few photos but always only subtly. i dont think any of them are here, but a couple on the blog. for #4, i didn't really like the embracing, and would probably experiment a bit more had i had the time.
