I could probably call the photo center and ask them this question directly but they are closed (after business hours) and I need photos by tomorrow. Does anyone know if they accept and print TIFF files or do they mainly deal with Jpeg?

Thanks

The one here only does jpg. However a quality 12 jpg from Photoshop should turn out indistinguishable from the tiff in print.

I haven't asked them in years, but the last time I heard, they didn't.

I have recently uploaded a tif to Costco and had it printed with no problems whatsoever.

thanks for the quick reply's...I'll submit both formats I think. If they both work then oh well. If only one of them works then oh well...I just need them rushed for tomorrow. I'll post the results of what happened a little later!

THanks again!

A Q8 jpeg is more than enough. Q10 is overkill, and Q12 is... well... overkill times two. Print a 6x4" crop of an image from TIFF, and Q4, 6, 8, 10, 12 jpeg. Write on the back which is which, shuffle, then see if you can put them in order. That'd be a fun little experiment, and prints are cheap :)
