Sorry for making my first post here such a sad one, but I wish to inform the members of P.O.T.N. that exwintech has passed away. Exwintech, a.k.a. Dave, passed away on November 10, 2012 after a brief illness.
I am the chief editor of The PCLinuxOS Magazine, and I discovered exwintech's participation in this forum while gathering information for the tribute article our magazine will be running about him in our December 2012 issue. Just as he was in the PCLinuxOS forum, it appears from reading his posts here that Dave was impassioned about the topics he was interested in. Also, just as he was in the PCLinuxOS forum, it appears that Dave liked helping others.
It also seems that Dave was quite a private person, as I have had quite a time finding information about him. Aside from his helping others, it has been a task to piece together information about him. He didn't leave much of a trail.
R.I.P., Dave ... a.k.a. exwintech. You will be missed!

He'll be sorely missed for his ever-helpful outlook and advice.
Please post to the main thread, from which the starter post above is quoted.
