Hey everyone,

I've recently discovered these forums and am amazed at how much i can learn from them! I've just bought a 350d, upgrading from my Nikon FE2. This is one of my first pictures from it (of me), was wondering what you thought of it. I added the blur in photoshop, does that help? Thanks in advance for any criticism/feedback! I've got alot to learn :)

Terrific first post and welcome to the forum. Personally, I like the original shot better. Nice job with the natural light.

The fall of the light on the face and guitar are cool. I think I might try to keep the guitar sharp as it is a compliment to the mans face. Keep up the good work.

You created a hell of a mood with the lighting, and then made a "dream" out of it with your PS work. Well done ... very well done. I love both shots.

Very nice work! I like them both, but the first one gets my vote for the better of the two.
