Just FYI for those who prefer to buy locally, I was at Fry's Electronics in Downers Grove, IL and saw they listed 5D III for $2899 until 11/21 (not on their ads). I took a picture of it and brought it to a local Best Buy, and they priced match it.

Thanks for the alert, 2Live4....I got one from the Concord, CA today....they have two more in stock. Authorized Canon dealer and no waiting for shipping.....just local taxes. Here's my iPhone shot of the display.
