Dell 2412 gaming?

I'm considering a new 24" monitor, but I also do a lot of gaming.
Is the refresh rate (8ms g2g) of the Dell 2412 quick enough as a gaming monitor?
Anyone using one for gaming as well?

My wife games on one, she loves it.

I game on a 2711, which is even slower and dont have any problems.
I can't even tell the difference from my old anolog CRT Monitors which had zero lag.

Played Starcraft 2 and some Half Life 2 on it and it has been great for me

Im always leery of those "reviews" touting monitors good for gaming and those not. I game on a Dell U3011 and before that a Samsung 305T and before that MANY other monitors. Some that were rated high for gaming and some that were not. And through the decades I never noticed anything that even remotely affected my gaming experience.

Just game. Concentrate on shooting people! :)
