My son is helping my baby daughter get her weebles playset together... And my baby daughter Haylee is yelling at me...lol. I also processed this with the trial version of Capture One just to see if it's any better than ACR. I actually like it, but I'm not convinced that it does the job any better. The sharpening is better though.

Thanks... I was a little slow as she JUST turned her head slightly to look at my other daughter to my left. Just a split second prior to releasing the shutter she was looking right at me and started to yell... :P But I think this shot is precious anyway. I agree about the eyes. I look at them all the time and so I try to capture them with every shot I take of her. They are so much prettier in person. I'm not a good enough photog to capture them at their best. Someday soon though.

Dave... yeah, she was. She is really funny the way she yells at me like that. It's mostly like she's trying to get my attention even though I've got the camera pointed right at her. lol Thanks for the comments. I was really happy with the color myself.

Joe and Curtis... :) Thanks. and I plan to keep shooting for sure.

Julia, thank you for your kind words. I have three kids and I think the timing and experience are allowing me to enjoy her more at this age than the previous two. Being a new dad was scary and they were really close together. She is known around town and I think everyone in town shares your sentiment about her.

Nice expression. Color look too yellow for white baby. But still nice picture.

What you might be seeing is yellow reflection lighting from the walls and ceiling. The room is painted yellow. Well it's sponged yellow/white on the walls and the ceiling is yellow. I've been meaning to paint it a different color but haven't gotten around to it.

Maureen, it's funny you say that... I call her chunky monkey. :) I also call her beeble cheeks. My son when he was a baby had a hard time saying bubbles... he called them beebles. So instead of calling her bubble cheeks which sounds weird, I used beeble cheeks. While still weird, it does have a certain cuteness to it that is all her. and if you got your hands on her you'd fall in love. She's very cuddly and very VERY squishy.
