This is not an amateur e-book, but an incredibly detailed wealth of information, technique and tutorials about all aspects of HDR imaging written by an expert. Kirk

Yea, they used to perform a process called printing where words were printed on paper creating what was called a "book", but I have long forgotten how to utilize it.
