now THAT is an awesome shot. My god that is sharp. Curious what kind of PP you did on this one?

No problem.

1. Shot in HDR 3 bracket -2,0,+2
2. Merge with Photomatix 4
3. Don't remember tweaking any settings in Photomatix because it came out quite well right off the bat
4. Went into Lightroom with the merged HDR to raise contrast and clarity. Add a bit of vignetting
5. Went into Photoshop to sharpen using unmask sharp
6. Used Nik Dfine to remove noise from HDR effect

excellent. thought it was an HDR shot.

photomatix and dfine easy to use? and when shooting HDR's, is there an ISO you don't want to go higher than? I've heard people say when you start shooting at 800 and up, you get a lot of noise when merging?

Photomatix is somewhat simple if you know how to use Lightroom as there are things that they're alike.

Dfine is very simple which is why I like it.

I only shoot HDR with ISO 100 and never any number. But that's just me. And yes I have tried to shoot at higher ISO due to lack of light and there were just too much noise.

Awesome. Thanks for all of the info. I'll take a whack at some HDR's now.
