A couple of candid shots of friends at last night's New Years party. Other than the little bit of camera shake, what do you all think?

Nope thats one of my best friends...since I was behind the camera there were only a few with me in them, and they all came out too blury. I really need faster glass or IS but thats out of my budget for the near future.

Balliolman, I- agree...I put the first two up cause I think they are the best "protraits" I've ever taken. Just wish I had a faster lens so they would have been shaper.

Grego - I've been putting off ordering the 50 f1.8, because I'm trying to decide what else I wanted to order. I was shooting at 800 I think. I should have bumped it up to 1600. I keep forgeting that I can change ISO on the fly with digital. :)

Taken right after Midnight.

The more I look at this one the more I like it. Everyone but Renee is in a blur of motion. Maybe the one time a slow lens worked in my favor. :)
