how easy is it to return though? I had to return my first fisheye since it was really soft. I wonder if groupon is as easy to deal with as say amazon or b&h?

Yes they are. The 14mm is great if you can get a good copy without de-centering issues. It also has heavy mustache distortion but easily corrected with LR or PT-Lens.

For me it is not about sharpness since I know if you can get a good copy, the optical quality is very high. Ultra ultra wide is just not for me.

Great price but I use Lee filters for my landscape shots and I believe you can't use filters with this lens.

Does it mention anywhere who's the seller? Is it Groupon themselves?

To answer my own question

Goods sold by Groupon Goods.

Does anyone know if they're new or used though?

I shoot landscapes a lot with the 14mm f/2.8 and no, you can't use filters. I wish you could, but I've been able to produce pretty decent results with bracketing etc. Overall, awesome, awesome lens. I wouldn't hesitate picking this up for $299. I got mine for $359 just a month ago and it was worth every penny.
