Apr 04, 2013 13:43 | #3078 Fungi I shot this morning in the National Forest up the hill from my house. 5 shot stack done in CS6, D800, 105mm, f/13, 1/15 - not handheld. I photographed this the other day without my tripod, a single shot and parts of the thing were badly OOF. Read up on this stacking thing and walked back up there this morning (2 miles one way - the people who live up there on the edge of the forest will have your car towed if you park it) with my tripod, found it and shot it again.

Nice Rick. Focus stacking is worth the effort.
