Fungi I shot this morning in the National Forest up the hill from my house. 5 shot stack done in CS6, D800, 105mm, f/13, 1/15 - not handheld. I photographed this the other day without my tripod, a single shot and parts of the thing were badly OOF. Read up on this stacking thing and walked back up there this morning (2 miles one way - the people who live up there on the edge of the forest will have your car towed if you park it) with my tripod, found it and shot it again.

That's a neat looking Fungi you got there Rick. Some more 300mmF4 +1.7 TC work.

Nice Rick. Focus stacking is worth the effort. :)

Will Nikon ever bring out a lens to compete with the Canon MP-e 65mm?

I really like what you do with that 300mm. I'm watching for one in the Nikon refurb store.

Thanks Rick! Its a nice lens, I just wish Nikon had a 200mm 2.8 prime. I miss that lens when I shot with Canon, super sharp sleeper lens.

It's always nice when the Robins show up. They are so cheerful. I like chickadees more though, they seem to be highly intelligent and communicative, Robins are just cheerful. lol

One more from Saturday, it's HDR, I'm sorry if that offends you. lol. Not as cool as the other one, but I like variety.
