If the 14-24 doesn't impress me, I'll likely sell it and consider another 16-35. William | Fuji X-E1 | Fuji X100S | Flickr

The 16-35 VR is a good lens when compared to the Canon equivalent. ![]() 77mm filters also fit into a bag a helluva lot better than the monstrosity required to make 'em work right on the 14-24mm. And you can throw the filters in your pocket when you are usin' them (that what I usually do). The 14-24mm is awesome, though, that's for sure. And there's work arounds for the filters if you have room in your bag, or you can black card it or something if really needed, I suppose. Or use exposure averaging instead of ND, if I would have known how well that worked I might have said screw it and got the 14-24mm, instead. But pain to use in cases where you wanted an ND500. Eh. The new 18-35mm seems good, too. You really can't go wrong with Nikon wide angles. There's some little voice in my head that sometimes tells me to sell the 16-35mm and get a Sigma 12-24mm II, for the lolz. Maybe I will someday. lol. amanathia.zenfolio.com
