I like your colors. Did you use a filter?

Thanks! I didn't use any filters.

Anyone looking at the new 80-400? (I am).

Someone over on Nikonians just did a nicely detailed comaprison between the new 80-400 and the 400 2.8, its image heavy.

Sent my D600 in last week to get the shutter mechanism replaced (or whatever the hell is causing the oil/dust spots). Anyway, peeping some photos I took a couple weeks ago with my Samyang 14mm f/2.8. How do these look?

Handheld, 1/60s, f/11 no sharpening, some processing like highlight and shadow recovery in LR

El Duderino, those look great. 1 and 3 appear very sharp, for me it's harder to tell with #2. Like the reflections in 1 and 3 a lot too.

ISO on those looks like 200. You can probably get a EXIF plugin for your browser...

Yes, ISO 200. It looks a little grainy from post processing/jpeg compression.

#2 looks less sharp because I tried focusing on the rocks in #3. f/11 and DOF at 14mm can only do so much.

cool, I just love those rocks reflections in the water, and the picture is real sharp, great piece of glass also.

I gotta get a Nikon :) soon!

Really sharp images. What body + glass are you shooting?
