a couple of last shots with my D600. Great camera with not so great skin tones/auto WB and only decent AF system.

I realized after taking this photo that I didn't have to stop over my food shots so much anymore with the tiltable D750 screen :D Didn't think I'd be a fan of the tiltable screen at all, but it's already come in handy more than once. The AF is very good and accurate, so I can easily see myself taking wedding reception/dance shots holding the camera above my head and shooting into the crowd.

A tripod would have been nice this evening on my walk home from the train station. ISO 12800 had to suffice.

The AFD 24-85 again on the D4 wide open at 85mm.

That happened to me one time. I found it was a setting I accidentally changed in LR. this is my first stop for PP.

I posed this question in the d750 thread and didn't get much, so I'll ask it here: Stuck pixels, are they a way of life now? My first d750 had 5 noticeable ones and about 15 over all that I could pick out in a dark room with a black screen. My second, 3 noticeable ones and no pixel peeping for any more as of yet. Is this normal? The first one I noticed because I was taking outdoor Christmas light photos and thought it was a star and once I started looking, I saw all of them.

My village called. I was told that they missed me.

Speedotron users, untie!

There's no way to map them out?

They're not on the sensor, but on the rear LCD itself.

I would appreciate some thoughts and recommendations about the 85mm f/1.4 vs f/1.8. I've not really been a portrait guy, so I am thinking the f/1.8 is plenty good enough. Agree? Any alternative suggestions?

Although my D810's (was delivered today!) main role will be using the 14-24 to capture landscapes, cityscapes, streetscapes, seascapes....all the scapes.....I would like to give it other roles as well. A portrait lens is one idea - I've never had one and I have started getting a little portrait work this year.

I would try not to worry about them. Dead/stuck pixels are quite common on OLED screens. I remember freaking out about my PS Vita when I first got it. I highly doubt itll ever become an issue for you. My D750 has a few dead pixels, but it will not affect my work whatsoever. I could easily send it back to the seller on Amazon from which I bought it "like new-used" for about $1850, but I don't want to be without my camera for even a day :)

LCD monitor manufacturers usually have a tolerance level that they'll allow returns for...like up to 3 or more pixels or something..
