That's a bummer. Too bad we're an ocean apart I'd try to help you out with an equipment loan. I used to work under the landing path to an airport and thoroughly enjoyed taking pictures of the planes coming in. Plus the westward bound aircraft coming out of Logan in Boston sometimes came over us. They were really high and a challenge but I enjoyed trying to get them. I thought I was the only one who did that until I saw your photographs. My last 6 months in the military (Air Force). They trained. Me to be an aircraft spotter. Looking for Russians. It was 1969 and the Cold War was on. I was stationed at a SAC (strategic bomber ) base at the time and they lost my security clearance so I couldn't work at my regular job

Was this ment for me ?

Love your car shots! Beautiful cars anyway, and you add a nice artistic touch to them. Looking through your flickr page. Big difference in your shots from 6 years ago on your page there. Wonder where I'll be in a few more years? I'm no pro. But always striving to improve!

Thank you very much for the offer it was so kind of you, its been tuff I always have to sacrifice my cam gear due to our circumstances and always end up far worse of - as a case in point lasy year I had a D7100 with a 70-300ED VR lens and now via a few sales and buying cheaper and selling that and buying again even cheaper, not by my choice i must add, I now have a Fuji X-S1 Bridge cam with a 2/3inch sensor long lens on it but not good with focus tracking or for cropping like a DSLR.
Dont get me wrong its a great travel or close up cam and frankly all i could afford.

Feels like a case of had good gear should be thanful but reality hits hard.

Thank you sir! 6 years ago, I would have never imagined the position I would be in now thats for sure.

Posting up some pics I took today from the D500 and Sigma 1.8 Art lenses for the first time.

I'm really loving the bokeh I'm getting from these lenses.

I played around with the camera settings and was happy with the improvement. Only some cropping and slight sharpening was done here.
