Thanks! jason Love my D750! Want a D500 and a D850. lol Paul

Thanks! jason I really enjoyed my D700. I moved to it from a D7000. It is quite a bit bigger and heavier than your other two bodies. At 12mp it's also going to give you a lot less resolution. The files aren't significantly better than the D7000 created - for me the D700 focussed better however. It also had the FX appeal that I could not get past.

May 12, 2018 21:37 | #7166 tyr-sog, everything about that picture is PERFECT... except for the background. I know there was probably nothing you could do about it, and it was an opportunity shot.. but I wanted to congratulate you on recognizing a great image before the shutter was even clicked! Only shooting Z6II, moved up from the Z50; both are fantastic

May 13, 2018 20:06 | #7168 ShutterKlick wrote in post #18624733 ![]() Jason, Depending on your budget, you may want to entertain the idea of a D7500.. Now, I read the reviews... and I watched the slew of Youtube videos, comparing it to this and that, the D500 and the D7200, etc.. etc.. Well, I bought the D7200 and returned it inside the window, and added some milk money to upgrade to the D7500. I must say, IMHO... 99% of these reviews were made off *spec, and spec alone* because I can attest, it is night and day! The D7500 is pure pleasure to shoot with where as the D7200 wasnt even as good as my D5300. (sad face). I know others with disagree, and thats fine.. I am only stating my experience and feelings on the two (three?) cameras. Ive not shot a D500, but the few reviews that call the D7500 a "D500 Lite", may actually be more accurate than the masses think! Some may try to diminish the D7500 by saying "its parts of this camera, and parts of that camera, kind of hacked together".. and there may be some truth to that, but I call that innovative because the features and performance of this camera amazes me every single time I shoot with it!! HTH, Andrew

I had the D7100 and rather heavy nikkor 300 f4 if ed prime (the none af-s one - and no VR) I sold it as it was too heavy and un flexible with just 300mm all the time, I currently have a Olympus MFT system but I want to come hme to nikon but need to loose the weight so the D5500 seems to fit my needs list, along with this I am also considering the Tammy 70-300 VC lens as I hear it is also very good for its price.
