It’s a Broncolor Para 133. Elinchrom ELC 1000 Pro strobe. Likely working at 30ws or less. I can’t replicate its effect with any softbox I own.

Cool. thank you for that. So kinda like the westcott rapid octa box I use now. Was it fairly close to the model?

I believe it was about 5 it 6 feet away. 2ish meters. The Para focuses. It was slightly in from fully defocussed.

The rapid box won’t be anything like a para, but enjoy..!

Cool. What year was that?
Hyde park is our mini Central Park.
It used to be a ceremonial special place to our Indigenous friends. Then the European's messed up the creek that went through it. Used for various other things, then it had horse racing around the outside and so on, the times have changed it.
Really nice city park now with mature trees. Botanic Gardens down the road is wonderful and full of photo opportunities :)

Been a while. 1993. Back in the Film days! Wasn’t aware of the history of the park. Had dinner and was entertained at the Sydney Opera House. That was cool. Was in Sydney about 2 weeks.
