Went to Maui last week for a short get away from the snow and loved it.
I found the island more photogenic than Oahu, beautiful beaches and peaceful.
Molokai, Kauai and Big Island next.

lovely shots, neighbor is pushing hard for us to go to Maui this winter. i've been to Oahu (a lot) and Kauai (a few times to see friends who live there) but have always avoided Maui. Seeing these makes me want to go.

I've been to Oahu 3 times now, once in Kauai and now once in Maui.
Oahu is definitely more urbanized than the other islands, always nice to walk around Waikiki anytime of the day but Maui and Kauai has more beaches and overall more peaceful and laid back.

On our 6th day in Maui, we were actually tempted on going to Oahu for 1-2 days but had to cancel it as we couldn't find any evening flights back to Maui.

Nice. Go to Kauai. You will love it. We went to Kauai, Hawaii and Oahu last month. Didn't get a chance to hit up Maui, but next trip will probably be Maui and Kauai.
