I think it is a nice concept and would look better with something in the background that is about to get hit or has an expression from being hit. If that was done with focus on the fist, it would make more of a statement in my opinion.

Cool idea, I like the strong contrast.......I think it would look better if the fist was distorting the background, that would introduce an action element.
