Took this photo a while back, got around to editing it and I tried a few new techniques with skin retouching. Would love to hear some critique. Thanks!

The biggest issue I see is the white balance is too cool and it makes the whites of her eyes blue. By correcting the w/b, her skin tones will be much more natural too. I also think you've over sharpened and it makes her skin appear grainy.

Here's a quick edit of your first shot where I adjusted the white balance and smoothed her skin a bit. Those are the only adjustments I made.

+1 on the white balance. it does needs to be warmed up.
I'm not to hip on the skin retouching either.
it looks to much like a cover up...like you can tell the texture is added.
(I feel the edit is worse though...it washes out the detail in the face.)
I don't know what to do to improve it, I don't work with faces to much.

Both look a little green to me. I took the 2nd one and dropped the green channel a bit and brightened just a little.
