After seeing pictures in this thread, I finally bit the bullet and got one!
Really like the lens so far. Previously I had 35L which I sold last year. Eventhough I don't have 35L and 35 Sigma in the same time, I can say that the Sigma is as good, if not better.
Here is one for today:

Does anyone think the resolving power of this lens would be slightly wasted on a 5DC?

This lens seems better then the canon equivalent. Do sigma do a 50mm of same quality ?

Same quality? People would debate that. It's a very popular lens, though. I think the best thing would be to check out the thread and decide for yourself:

I don't think so at all. If anything, you'll have to keep any sharpening to zero because of that beauty of an AA filter.

Wow. That's really something. Great processing. Strangely powerful.

Thank you sir.
Actually, both of our shots are kind of similar in some ways. A woman in unusual sunlight standing in a circular pattern. It seems like your model is in a circular cul-de-sac or some such?

Just picked then lens up. Whoah its sharp. ONly got to play with it briefly in the restaurant and in the car but in a 100% crop I can see lint and stray dust on the the edge of my wife's phone.

This guy accidentally scratched Sam's face this morning with his claws. Sam freaked out. He felt so bad that he wouldn't eat breakfast until Sam gave him a hug and told him it was alright. He then spent the rest of the day on Sam's blanket. Tell me these pups don't have feelings!
