Focusing is quite consistent, BUT... 430EXII's AF assist beam and daylight focusing differ by about 10 AFMA steps and even more with YN-622's AF assist. Something I have not noticed with Sigma 50 1.4 before. Not a big deal when I know how much I need to dial in, but I'm really looking forward to shooting in a situation when I'll be walking from darkness to daylight constantly ;]]
