The Sigma 35 has definitely become my most used/go to lens.

Mine just arrived today, the build quality is really as nice as everyone said it was. Still need to adjust it on my cameras, but a +7 seems to have it pretty accurate on one body so far.

Got my lens yesterday, loving it so far, viewing image i shot quickly, heres best one i quickly lightroomed up.

I use this with the 5d2 and... I love it. Focusing is quite consistent, BUT... 430EXII's AF assist beam and daylight focusing differ by about 10 AFMA steps and even more with YN-622's AF assist. Something I have not noticed with Sigma 50 1.4 before. Not a big deal when I know how much I need to dial in, but I'm really looking forward to shooting in a situation when I'll be walking from darkness to daylight constantly ;]]

3rd day, had to put micro adjust +8 with lens align.

Heres some shots of objects in house.

First one, ship, uncropped. Focus dead center image.

Mine wound up with a +5 setting on a very informal test. However on my other body it was a 0.

I'm content with those numbers. Now I need to get out and shoot with it!

Thanks man our two children are my only real motivation I have ZERO sharpening in lightroom and clarity at 0. In fact I had add soften using noise reduction to soften it up (probably not the right way) because it looked way over sharpened/processed?

BTW I have been following your shots and they are amazing and inspiring for a rook like me.

Looks like I may return mine to Adorama. With no MA on the 5D I'm unable to get a solid shot and I hate that to since its well built.

How hard is it to return?

Ah that's a shame. You could send the lens with your camera to them and they'd be able to match it.
