I use this with the 5d2 and... I love it. Focusing is quite consistent, BUT... 430EXII's AF assist beam and daylight focusing differ by about 10 AFMA steps and even more with YN-622's AF assist. Something I have not noticed with Sigma 50 1.4 before. Not a big deal when I know how much I need to dial in, but I'm really looking forward to shooting in a situation when I'll be walking from darkness to daylight constantly ;]]

and something from the Streets:

Great shot. Would make a nice B/W.

Any website you can view the lamp that isn't in Chinese? Where did you buy yours (if you aren't based over that way)?

It looks like the same, just rebranded.
people complain about its build quality.
yes it`s plasticky and poorly built. but I`m the type of person that takes care of his equipment. So, as long as it does the job, I have no complains.

I might buy another one. with 2 of these night still portraits would look perfect.

This will be my next Prime!!!

Anyone know if Sigma plans to do a 24mm 1.4? I've been lusting after the 24mmL for a year but the $$$$$ is still $$$$$.

Don't apologize they are all great! Here's a quick contribution from me.

Cool, thanks :) and nice icicle shot!

Here's a shot of our busiest engine in the City of Fresno. I have the pleasure of working on this engine every so often.

Ha! Yes, I should throw some bars on it! ;)

How bout this one? Dang beavers! Watch for falling timber down by the river. This one was precariously leaning up against another tree a fraction of it's size. My guess is that it'll go soon.

f/1.6 Has anyone noticed how sharp this lens is?
