The IQ of this lens even on a crop is really great! Can't wait to have my copy!

Thanks, yeah this lens has a fantastic sharpness to it, which with the addition of a highpass filter in Photoshop, it becomes nearly too much. With that Lion shot I've actually, since posting, put a mask on the Highpass layer to just hit the face, as the fuzz around my head seems a bit too crisp, unnaturally so.

Also, that shot was cropped in quite a bit:

But so far you have not share any thing either positive or negative about sigma 35 f1.4.
How do you find this lens compare to canon version

I like it a lot, might be a little better than the 35L but wouldn't say it's a great difference

Did you also employ the use of an ND filter? That's a lot of sunlight at f1.4

No, ISO 50 and 1/3200 was enough
