OK guys, following the feedback I re-edited the shot. This is it now with zero skin smoothing and also dialled the orange down a bit. Better?

And as you said, you mostly shot landscapes before your lad was born. Shooting "portraits" is quite a lot different.

Just get ready for when he can outrun the AF on your 5D2 and you'll be in here asking about "How to photograph my son's sports day"...
