This has the WOW factor big time, congrats.

No doubt on this one!! Nice control of the FL in preventing distortion up close with great background rendering lovely separation. Not something easily accomplished with 35mm. Fine job my friend.

Thanks folks! My 3 year old daughter threw the leaves on him as he laid there relaxing. We couldn't ask for a better dog with our daughters. I wish time could be frozen as he is getting older.

noob question about the dock customization.

so you have to shoot first at all the recommended distances, analyzed then run the dock software to adjust? then try and try again back and forth?

i think that's the main purpose of the dock.

Welcome back after more than 1 yr break.
As a Sigma fan, I've bought 35mm/1.4 and I have to say, that I really like this lens.

No rush in photography... My junkyard: 1/ Good, convenient shoes. 2/ "Ape with Razor" set: ΣSIGMALux50mm f/1.4 EX DG HSM plus 5DMkII, footzoom, flash... what flash?
3/ Sometimes also ΣSIGMA 12-24mm f/4.5-5.6 EX DG HSM and Carl Zeiss Planar

Yep. That's pretty much it.
You still have to do the MFA tests at the given distances and adjust in the software until it suits your requirements.
