There was a canon deal, but it sold out. You can still get the Nikon deal apparently.

Morning snuggle @ 3 days old. Thank god my camera was already in my hands, in servo, burst mode and wide open. I showed Momma the photo as soon as I took it and she started crying..... Man, it's gonna be hard to go back to work tomorrow. I just wanna spend all day, every day with these two. SIGH...!

Yeah it was a lightning deal, by the time I got there only the waitlist was available. I already have one but I asked to be on the waitlist anyhow. It finally came back and said sold out.

I bought a used in like new condition from Amazon, but it has this squeaky focus, and some dust in there, so I wanted to return it and get this new but apparently the deal expired. Sigh.

There is something on one of my internal elements, just below the rear element. I'm not sure if it's a piece of dust or a flaw in the glass. I've also noticed there is a little hair inside mine too. It bothers the heck out of me that I didn't notice within 30 days, but the lens still produces perfect images (at least as far as I can tell) so I constantly tell my self not to let it bother met.

It still does a little though.

I have something there as well, right under the bottom element. I am thinking its dust, but I can't really see it on pictures.

I just looked at mine really close it almost looks like a flaw on the glass on the opposite side of the rear element, like a microscopic fracture in the glass or something. You can only see it it at a certain angle, and if you shine light on the glass or through it, it disappears.
