Just picked one up on eBay for $600!

Took it out for Father's Day at the zoo and this lens is already my favorite. Perfect focal length to document my newborn :)

Couple candids from over the weekend. Surprisingly, I'm still trying to get used to this lens. Not sure if it's the focal length or some other characteristics, but I just don't feel 100% confident with it yet.

is it automated retrieval from Flickr that is doing it? because it's not all that hard to check the metadata after you post

The forum has been choosing the wrong lens from the exif

Are there any Canon bodies that can read specific lens model data from third-party lenses? I think not. My 5d3 recognizes my 50 Art as only a generic 50mm. Flickr manages to extract the generic focal length, but not the Sigma make. For some reason AMASS identifies the 50 Art as a 35L.
