Buy the dock with the lens, run it through and then no issues

the exact opposite! In camera MfA is useless with this lens (for most people) as it only corrects at the distance you test it at. The dock tweaks 4 distances

The dock allows you to fix focus at different focus distances, it's not a one general setting like in camera focus adjustment
