smythie I wasn't even trying More info | Jun 22, 2016 18:23 | #8328 Johnny5D wrote in post #18047141 I shoot mostly subjects at 0.5 to 5 meters away.. newborn and portaits. And I find out it front focus alot.. I'd say using a Dock and setting focus adjustment at each of the steps would probably help you based on that information

Jun 22, 2016 23:27 | #8329 I asked my daughter to strike a pose while I was setting up in the backyard to test out some stuff. Since I was still setting up, I didn't quite have the ambient exposure set correctly. http://RyanLunaPhotography.com

You have a point...it's obvious the photo is out of focus though and I made an assumption based on a shot like this, the focus is normally placed on the eyes, but the focus is showing in front. I made an assumption, my bad.

Or should I get the dock? Would it solve my lens focus problems?.. Other lens I was thinking of is the 50mm L 1.2... is it worth? Or should I stick with this art lens? Get the dock for sure, it takes some work but should fix your focus issues.
