Thank you, I don't do portraits too often but are trying to get more into them! This is the native Sony E mount version and I find it focuses really fast and accurate as long as you're in AF-C. In AF-S, you will find that most lenses don't focus as well as the Sony system seems to be optimized for AF-C. I have no issues with it and I'm really loving the lens so far.
