Yes, my eos R is brand new. I still have the Sigma on it, but my Canon rf 35mm 1.8 is coming on Saturday. Let's see how it works. The Sigma produces bad errors in automatic mode and in video, see above. Probably it is due to the old firmware of the lens ... I never updated it because I don't have a dock. The Sigma comes back to my 5D mk3 as a backup.

I think you’ll really enjoy the 35mm f/1.8 when it arrives! This lens has a lot of character to the images, it’s just very big and heavy like all f/1.4 lenses.
