Capybaras are known for being the largest rodents around, weighting up to 150 lbs.
These were roaming freely in a park in Curitiba, Brazil, just lying on the sun not at all shy to me as I approached them.

My grandfather used to hunt them back in the 50's.
They supposedly taste like pork, but it's illegal to hunt them since they've become endangered.
