I'm seeing these two different models on their site, but I can only find the Ranger Quadra anywhere else. What is the difference between the two?

To prevent confusion, they added the naming convention to make it easier to tell that newer models would fact work. Older models would have to be checked via their serial, and i believe there may be a service change possible to them for a fee? I'm not sure of the last part though, so don't quote me. It might of even been the heads... Like i said theres a fair amount of confusion involved. +1 Oskar (Oscar) - stuff I use- Flickr

DutchCorps Senior Member More info | Hi guy's, I've bought a Quadra kit recently and had the same question for the importer here in the Netherlands. He told me the only difference is the battery level indicator on top of the generator. In the hybrid version it is accurate for both lit-ion as for lead batteries. The non-hybrid was calibrated for lead batteries only. An accurate battery level of the lit-ion batteries can be obtained from the level indictor on the lit-ion battery itself. I bought the non hybrid version as this kit was on sale
