Screw the pod into the lens foot and go shoot.
A head is just one more thing that can fail at the worst possible moment.
That's what I do.

Nov 26, 2012 06:10 | #22 One last comment. I use a lever clamp on my monopod vs the screw type. Not sure which I like better. I know the clamp is locked when the lever is closed. But there is a slight possibility a strap can snag on the lever and release it, although the design makes that difficult. With the screw top it could loosen. Mike
