Not sure if this has been started before or not, but I have noticed a scenic beauty to shooting barns around the country. In fact I have gone out of my way to shoot them including making the wife drive so I could shoot them as we drove by on the interstate!

Let me start this off with a few I have. Top photo is the original barn on our family farm in Wapakoneta, OH and the second is the barn on my aunt's farm on the other side of town.

I love taking them and have even found a market for them. I am in the process of putting together a 2013 calendar of barns.

I've always loved shooting barns. Here are a few that I've come across during my trips:

Sensational set, Rich. Very nicely done. bw!

The rest are also very cool. I'd love to do more barn shots, but it means walking on someone's land and I never seem to see anyone to ask permission. The one time I tried, the owner just happen to drive by and saw me and gave me hell. :o

This one was right on a farm road, so no permission needed.

Late Summer:

My wife and I were there in June of 2010 but the weather was rotten. Cold, rainy, low clouds on the mountian.

Your photo is wonderful!
