Hello everyone, I was out the other day just before this cold weather moved in and all the peeps were feeding hard, funny how they manage to know a weather change is coming without cable TV....

You know something Bret, I'm saving up for a 500 f/4. You might yet convince me to get a 400 f/2.8 :)

Mark, the 500 is a great lens but the 400 2.8 is a much better hunk of glass though it is more moneys!

Nice!

I'm torn between the 400 and the 500. Portability and being able to hand hold if needed is what had me thinking 500. But I don't know. Luckily I have time to think about it.
