Thanks Correct center point,I never use all focus points in AI servo mode. 6D---17-35 Tammy---40mm f2.8---50mm f1.8---70-200 f2.8 Tamron VC---400mm f5.6---EX580---Yongnuo Triggers

I have used outer single points in AI servo on motor sport which I find works quite well. Cheers You can use all points, just be sure to lock with the center on the subject, and it tracks that subject the entire time like point expansion. I typically use all points when tracking, but try to keep the initial contact with the subject squarely on target. With fast animals, they can fall out of frame, however servo will still track. I tried it, gets results about the same as the 24-105 without tubes, but introduces AF problems (obviously no biggie if you MF) Alan Q

I had an issue with mine backfocusing pretty severely near infinity, and also had the VC stop working at some point. Sent to Tamron under warranty, and they fixed both issues quickly. ptcanon3ti wrote in post #17344477 Great info! I wonder of using with an extension tube will help with min focus distance for product photography. I use it with a variety of extension tubes with good results. AF is extremely spotty with the tubes, and I never use it.
