The box is all my own work, and as it turns out it would have been cheaper to buy one :-). But this one is very sturdy.

Basically a large vented box that draws air in through the sides. The sides have a media (straw) that is soaked with water by a small pump. The air blower sucks the air in through the wet media, that cools the air, which is then blown into the spaces to be cooled.

Same principal, albeit somewhat smaller, as those monster cooling towers you play with. :-)

Those monsters are fun though.

Now I have to deal with ACC (Air Cooled Condensers) these days.
