Wow, blast from the past folks. The success of the new Potn is paramount to Pekka. He is busily making the user interface better and taking suggestions as they come in. When it's all ironed out and polished, AMASS will be the best forum on the net.

I do believe it is already the best. The tweaks will only make it better. The whiners would cry if you hung them with a new rope. I can't see wasting a whole lot of time on their petty complaints.

Hello old friends.
I'm still without camera gear but I'm contemplating jumping back in.
Just wanted to do a fly-by "hello" :-D

Are you lost? Break out the cell phone camera!

I actually use my phone a lot for taking photos of my watches. That and I still have a P&S - Canon S90 that works ok.
I started my own business almost a year ago so I have an instagram account that I post the phone pictures to and I have done product shots for the business with the S90. It's ok but I know I could do better with a SLR and a 100mm macro ;)

So I'll be saving for that and keeping my eyes peeled for a good deal at some point.

Dead, but not forgotten. LOL

Wow.. I totally forgot about this thread. I didn't import any of the old threads but started over.

Not sure why, but call me JJ.

Me too. I have it with me all the time and it's so convenient. I'm thinking of upgrading to one of the new Nokia phones just for the camera..

Yea... That's not going to work here. This is a might conservative place.

Looks like a slow section, perhaps it could use some action.
